Meet the founder
Kimberly Dudley
The visionary founder behind The Mommy And Me Initiative. As a devoted mother of four wonderful children – one son and three daughters – Kimberly’s personal experiences have shaped her passion for maternal, infant, and child health. With a background in Public Health and ongoing pursuit of her doctorate at Walden University, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Her commitment to addressing social determinants of health in high-risk communities is evident in her leadership within the organization.
The Mommy And Me Initiative serves as a nonprofit educational and resource center dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of mothers, infants, and families. Our center offers a wide range of educational programs, workshops, and resources focused on prenatal and postnatal care, infant health and safety, and maternal well-being. Through evidence-based curricula and expert guidance, we empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the journey of parenthood confidently. Additionally, our center provides access to essential resources such as baby items, personal care products, and food assistance, ensuring that families have the support they need to thrive. At The Mommy And Me Initiative, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive community where every family can flourish.
Kimberly’s journey in early childhood education and her role as a certified CPR Instructor highlight her dedication to empowering parents with essential skills and knowledge. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kimberly serves on the Emergency Medical Response Team at her church, where her belief in a mission inspired by faith drives her to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
As a member of the Ohio Public Health Association, Kimberly actively contributes to the advancement of public health initiatives and policies in the state. Driven by her passion and a calling from God, Kimberly’s vision for The Mommy And Me Initiative is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a deep-seated commitment to supporting families in need. Through her leadership and tireless efforts, Kimberly strives to create a nurturing and supportive community where every parent and child can thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

What We Offer
At The Mommy And Me Initiative, we are committed to offering a comprehensive array of programs designed to cater to the diverse needs of moms, dads, and babies. Our extensive range of programs covers a wide spectrum of topics, including prenatal and postnatal care, infant health and development, parenting skills, and emotional support for new parents. Through our workshops, seminars, support groups, and educational resources, we provide valuable information and guidance to empower parents with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the journey of parenthood confidently.
For expecting mothers, our prenatal wellness classes offer essential information and support to promote a healthy pregnancy and prepare for childbirth. We cover topics such as prenatal nutrition, exercise, relaxation techniques, and birth planning, ensuring that moms-to-be feel confident and informed as they prepare for the arrival of their baby.
After childbirth, our postnatal care programs provide support and guidance to new mothers as they navigate the challenges of early motherhood. From breastfeeding support groups to postpartum fitness classes, we offer a variety of resources to help moms adjust to their new role and promote their physical and emotional well-being.
In addition to programs for mothers, we also offer specialized programs for fathers, recognizing the crucial role they play in the family unit. Our fatherhood programs provide dads with the support and resources they need to actively engage in their child’s upbringing and develop strong, nurturing relationships with their babies.
For infants and babies, our workshops and classes cover a range of topics including infant care, sleep training, developmental milestones, early childhood education, and infant CPR. Through these programs, parents learn how to meet their baby’s needs and support their healthy growth and development during the crucial early years of life.
Overall, our goal is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment where families can access the information, resources, and support they need to thrive. By offering a variety of programs for moms, dads, and babies, we aim to empower families to build strong, healthy, and happy futures together.

Our vision at The Mommy And Me Initiative is to eliminate infant mortality, maternal morbidity, and maternal mortality. We envision a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive and every mother receives the care and support she needs for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum experience. Through our comprehensive programs and initiatives, we strive to address the root causes of these issues, promote access to quality healthcare, and empower families with the knowledge and resources necessary to achieve optimal maternal and infant health outcomes. By working collaboratively with communities and stakeholders, we aim to create a world where every pregnancy is safe, and every mother and baby have the opportunity to flourish.
