MISSION:
The Mommy And Me Initiative is dedicated to addressing the root
causes of infant mortality, maternal mortality, and morbidity through
comprehensive, equitable, and culturally competent support.
We recognize that many mothers fall through the gaps of a strained and inconsistent healthcare system. TMMI is committed to delivering compassionate, culturally centered care directly into homes and communities, ensuring no mother navigates pregnancy or postpartum alone.
Through a holistic approach that addresses emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellness, and by reducing barriers related to social determinants of health (SDOH), we empower underserved women ages 18–35, strengthen families, and improve maternal
and infant outcomes.
VISION
We envision a world where every mother and child — regardless of race, income, or background — has access to holistic, high-quality, and culturally responsive maternal care.
Our vision is for communities where women ages 18–35 experience healthy pregnancies, safe births, strong postpartum support, and the resources needed to thrive — emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
